Project Details / Open Reason:

\n
• Supports Revenue Cycle organization at a large University Health System on the East Coast, as part of a large-scale Epic Refuel / Modernization effort currently in Phase 2, with Phase 3 to follow.
\n
• Supports the client's HIM team, on several active and upcoming initiatives.
\n
• Rolling out an AI coding front-end solution (live at one smaller entity, expanding enterprise-wide) along with a second AI/documentation solution nearing go-live.
\n
• An ROI (Release of Information), tied to attachments and templates shared with the PB and HB teams, along with an upcoming clearinghouse selection and conversion project.
\n
• Optum Insight implementation is planned for the ED and freestanding ED locations, with sites opening in December and January.
\n
• Identity/deficiency tracking is owned by a Grand Central analyst on the client side, not part of this role's scope.
\n

Required Skills:

\n
• Epic HIM certification
\n
• Strong HIM terminology and workflow experience, able to work independently with minimal onboarding.
\n
• Prior experience supporting Epic implementations, go-lives, or modernization/refuel initiatives.
\n

Desired Skills:

\n
• Experience coordinating with or supporting third-party AI coding or documentation vendors.
\n
• Experience with Release of Information (ROI) processes and clearinghouse transitions.
\n
• Experience supporting a Revenue Cycle or HIM organization at a large academic or multi-hospital health system .
\n

Day to Day Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide analyst-level support for HIM, including build, validation, and testing.
\n
• Support the AI coding and documentation solution rollouts, the ROI initiative, and the clearinghouse conversion project.
\n
• Support the Optum Insight implementation for ED and freestanding ED locations.
\n
• Partner with the HIM lead and manager, and PB/HB counterparts where ROI and template work overlaps.
\n
• Maintain accurate status reporting and task tracking within the client's project management systems as required.
\n
